The Classic DOD 250 Returns
Updating a legendary analog overdrive circuit with over 40 years of history behind it, the
DOD Overdrive Preamp 250 is a simple but powerful overdrive pedal that captures the classic tone and wild, untamed heart of the original without sacrificing any edge. This pedal couldn't be easier to use, with dedicated knobs for controlling gain amount and output level as well as a crisp LED power indicator.
The Overdrive Preamp 250 sports 1/4" TS Hi-Z input and output jacks and a true bypass circuit for maintaining pristine tone in your signal chain, even when the pedal is deactivated. The new lightweight aluminum chassis is durable without being bulky, and the pedal supports power from either a 9V battery or a 9 VDC power supply, such as the Digitech PS0913DC.
An Update to a Classic
Based upon the original DOD 250 circuit design, but with updated components and functionality, the Overdrive Preamp 250 is powerful, easy to operate, and maintains signal quality in complicated pedalboards thanks to its true bypass circuit. The easy-to-read blue LED indicator lets you know when power is running through the pedal, and the modern 9 VDC power supply input makes it very pedalboard friendly.
Redesigned Chassis
The new Overdrive Preamp 250 has been redesigned with a lighter aluminum chassis for easy transport without sacrificing durability. The finish is a sleek yellow metallic flake with a flat black matte bottom, an eye-catching design that will stand out in your pedalboard.
