
Kiloview U40 4K60p HDMI to NDI Converter
Kiloview U40 Overview
Add NDI connectivity to your existing camera as well as control your PTZ camera over an NDI or NDI|HX network with the Kiloview U40 4K60p HDMI to NDI Converter. The U40 is a disk like device, just over 3" in diameter and 1" tall, that packs quite a few features to simplify working with NDI|HX network. At that size, it's small enough to mount on your camera, using the included mounting shoe adapter, and it features an HDMI 2.0 input supporting 4K60p signals and converting them for connection to an NDI|HX network. The U40 also features two Ethernet ports which allow you to convert input IP streams into NDI|HX on your network.
The U40 supports PTZ control protocols, allowing you to use it to control your non-NDI|HX PTZ camera from your NDI|HX network, and you can also utilize the USB port for PTZ control via RS-232, RS-422, RS-485. A built-in tally light comes in handy to identify which camera you are controlling. It supports PoE power and has a handy power out feature, allowing you to power a camera or monitor.
