The GP-QRP1 Quick Release Plate from Magnus is designed for the GP-100 Tripod and attaches to cameras via its 1/4"-20 threaded mounting screw. The plastic-constructed plate has a rubberized nonslip surface on the top, so that a mounted DSLR does not move. For camcorders, the retractable register pin locks into the socket on the bottom, next to the threaded tripod socket, also preventing the camcorder from moving while on the plate.
