MakerBot 1.75mm PLA Precision Filament (Natural)

MakerBot 375-0019A Overview

Print 3D models with the natural MakerBot 1.75mm PLA Precision Filament.

PLA, or polylactic acid, is a thermoplastic usually made from corn starch, sugarcane, or other biodegradable materials. In addition to being environmentally friendly, PLA also prints at low temperatures, which helps to reduce the possibility of warping. PLA precision is optimized with the slicing algorithm in the MakerBot software. This filament also utilizes Smart Spool, which provides material type, color, and amount remaining information via an RFID chip to MakerBot Print. A desiccant in the spool also helps maintains a low moisture level inside the drawer bay.
