Ocean Way Audio S12A MKIII Overview
Well suited for studio, cinema, and home use, the Ocean Way S12A Mk III is an active 700W subwoofer with a 12" long-throw woofer that pairs well with a wide variety of studio monitors and powerful home speaker systems. Designed by Grammy-winning audio guru Allen Sides, the speaker's cabinet is designed for an extended bass frequency response from 125 Hz down to 30 Hz, with an adjustable crossover ranging from 120 to 60 Hz. The LF Adjust control provides a 45 Hz shelving EQ with up to 5 dB of boost/cut available to fine-tune the response. The rear-ported cabinet enclosure delivers a maximum peak level up to 114 dB.
The speaker features a pair of balanced XLR inputs and a pair of balanced XLR feed-through outputs. A delay control allows you to time-align the S12A Mk III with other components by dialing in up to 20 ms of delay. The back panel also features 12V trigger controls for auto-powering.
