Really Right Stuff RRS-9000051 Overview
The Base Plate for Sony a7 IV from Really Right Stuff is designed with an anti-twist registration pin to keep the camera from twisting while mounted on the plate. Once the dovetail plate is on, quick release functionality has been added to the camera. Also, this base plate is compatible with all RRS clamps and most other Arca-type compatible heads.
The CNC machined 6061-T6 aluminum plate maintains complete access to the battery door and has an option for to mount an available L-component that will fit the plate's modular design and make a custom-fit L-plate. The base plate has a durable Type II black anodized finish and a laser-engraved center mark on the back to align it on a tripod head. It features a 1/4"-20 tripod mounting socket and has a magnetic storage pocket for the included Allen wrench.
