Tiptop 292TRHS Overview

Shape your sounds organically with the TipTop Audio 292t RHS Quad Low-Pass Gate, a flexible low-pass gate module that includes four independent voltage-controlled filter/amplifiers. Each has a signal input and output, a control-voltage input that varies the unit's gain and an offset adjustment. A switch selects one of three operating modes: straight gate (VCA), low-pass filter (VCF), or a combination of the two, in which the spectral response varies as the gain is changed. The module ships with a ribbon power cable.

Note: This version of the 292t is a non-vactrol-LPG-compliant with UK and EU RoHS regulations.

Quad Function Generator
  • Four independently controlled signals (A, B, C, D)
  • Each channel has a signal input, a CV input, and a signal output
  • Additional (all) output for summed signal (4-to-1 audio mixer)
  • Attenuators per channel to control CV bias or general gain

Each channel can act in one of three modes:

  • Gate: Acts as a typical VCA
  • Low-Pass: Acts as a lowpass filter
  • Combo: A combination of the linear gate and the low-pass filter mode. It adds a subtle ringing decay to the audio

  • 16 HP Eurorack format module
  • Maximum depth: 1.8" (45mm)
  • Includes power ribbon cable with Eurorack power headers
  • Power consumption: +12V: 87mA, -12V: 36mA
